What is a Trackball Roller?
A trackball roller is mechanical component typically made of rubber or a rubber like plastic compound. The Rolee Polee trackball has a new white or light gray colored trackball. A good trackball roller will have two important features. It will have good grip or traction. The other important feature is that it is durable and has a long tread life. How to clean a trackball. Basically, you just remove the trackball ring and trackball and clean the little rollers very carefully. You can use a finger nail if you've got them to scrap off any lint or dust that accumulates on the rollers. You can also use a small flat tip screw driver, but be very gentle. You don't want to mess up the trackball rollers. Finally, when you are done scrapping and the rollers look nice and clean, take a can of compressed air and blow out the whole trackball assembly.
